European Bilberry, also known as black fruit blueberries, belong to the genus Vaccinium in the Rhododendroaceae family. The extract is a product made from fruit or juice after extraction and separation. European blueberries are called bilberry in Britain. It has been used as an edible plant since ancient times. It was used as a medicinal plant in Europe in the 16th century.
